My village is Girly Girl village. As far back as I can remember I have been surrounded by beautiful women. These women always looked snatched! Including my mom! Hair and nails always on fleek. The best clothes their money can buy. Their perfumes always fresh and alluring, but never heavy or seductive.

These women taught me that while a man loves a challenge, it must be mental - never physical. Girly Girls never sweat like men... We perspire. We never "take a dump." We poop!

And Girly Girls earn their own money. This is a must to be an independent woman. As my mom would say, "never place your purse on the floor girl!" Keeps your cash low!

When it comes to competition, Girly Girls play chess and join "debate" teams. We take dance lessons and play instruments. This is how we hone our "boardroom" skills, which are essential for success.

As I reminisce, I think of my daughters and granddaughters with sheer joy! #teamgirlygirl all the way!

A Girly Girl is a female who epitomizes saviore faire!

If a man walks up to you... Gives you that "I wanna sex you up!" look and says... "Girl, you know you a dime!" RUN! don't walk, to your nearest exit!

You are worth far more than a damn dime!

And I can assure you that's all he has in his pocket.

Ladies, if we are to be associated with a "coin," then I see myself as an African Krugerrand! 💁🏽

Little girls believe in fairytales. We are told magnificent stories at very young ages of princes and castles and knights in shining armor. Based in these tales we dream of prefect men. Men who have endless riches. Men who sweep us off our feet and give us the world.

Little boys are told stories of building armies and ruling nations. They are wired to conquer. Little boys are provided an unspoken sense of support and encouraged to "chase" tail without reservation.

Little girls who become mothers of these sons close their eyes. These women clinch their pain and somehow medicate themselves with the pain of their sisters. This behavior is justified by "stinking thinking." Somehow witnessing the mistreatment of another, makes one feel that they are "not alone." In other words, misery loves company.

This is real and this syndrome has been labeled the "Macho Paradox."

So to all my beautiful, innocent and trusting little girls I implore you to look for the "Love Forever After" and it is there that you will find your Happy!

Find that one that puts you first no matter what. It's not a struggle. It's not a contest. It's a life choice. ❤️
